This partnership also marks the first Retail Aggregation Program in the region and in the franchise area of the Camarines Sur II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CASURECO II).

AdNU selected Jin Navitas Electric Corporation (JNEC) as its Retail Electricity Supplier, with SolX Technologies supporting the energy procurement and switching process. The university's electricity requirements will be sourced from renewable energy projects including those of JNEC's affiliated solar power company, Jin Navitas Solaris Inc.

Through JNEC, consumers like AdNU gain access to competitive power rates and cleaner energy aligned with the university's sustainability goals.

AdNU leaders emphasized that the shift to renewable energy is aligned with the principles of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis' letter on caring for the environment and our common home.

The partnership demonstrates how educational institutions, businesses, establishments, and other qualified electricity consumers can take control of their power supply. Through the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Energy Regulatory Commission's (ERC) Retail Competition and Open Access, consumers can directly choose more affordable, cleaner, and flexible power options.

By partnering with a Retail Electricity Supplier such as JNEC, consumers can access renewable energy sourced from power projects while continuing to use the existing electricity distribution network. Through JNEC's renewable energy initiatives, consumers also help support local communities.

The partnership ceremony was attended by AdNU University President Fr. Aristotle C. Dy, SJ, and University Treasurer Mr. Ronaldo D. Surara. Representing JNEC were Group Executive Officer of the Joy~Nostalg Group, Mr. Jacinto C. Ng, Jr.; President and CEO Mr. Jose Alfonso C. Miras; Deputy Chief Operating Officer Mr. Jacinto Ray D. Ng III; and Head of Retail Operations Mr. Neo Jade A. De Guzman. Dir. Maria Luisa B. Rosin of CASURECO II and Engr. Christopher Balde of SolX Technologies also joined the ceremony as witnesses to the partnership.
